Crochet Brigitte Top (English)

Overview

This top consists of two crocheted cups, a lower body section worked in a shell stitch pattern, long shoulder straps that cross over at the back and several reinforced loops. First, the cups are made separately and then attached together by adding a body in a shell stitch pattern. The tops is finished with shoulder straps and a single crochet edging with loops.

The pattern is written for size S. The stitch counts for sizes M and L are shown in parentheses: S (M, L)

Fit

The sizes given are intended as a guideline. The final measurements will also depend on:

- the yarn used;
- your crochet tension;
- the hook size;
- your preferred coverage and fit.

Regularly hold the cups against your body while crocheting to check the fit. Add or remove one or more rows when necessary. The length of the lower body section can also be adjusted entirely according to your preference.
