The Half Sweater is knit in stockinette stitch from the top down with raglan increases. The sweater begins at the neckline, which is shaped by knitting back and forth with increases on either side. From there on, the sweater is knit in the round. After a couple of rows the stitches for the front and back are cast off and some more raglan increases are worked for the sleeves. The sleeves are knit in the round and finished with a small garter stitch border. At the end, stitches are picked up for borders which are knit in rib pattern.
